Turning an Underused Room into Something More

Before the renovation, this Hazelmere front room was simply an empty living space that was not adding much value to the way the home functioned. While it had plenty of size and potential, it lacked a defined purpose and did little to support the needs of a growing household. The opportunity was there to create something far more useful and far more in line with modern expectations.

A New Master Suite with Real Purpose

The goal of the renovation was to transform the front room into a complete master suite, giving the home a more practical and luxurious layout. This meant creating not just a bedroom, but a private ensuite and walk-in robe that would feel comfortable, cohesive and well considered. The focus was on delivering a space that felt like a genuine retreat while making better use of the home’s existing footprint.

Built for Comfort, Storage and Style

The finished ensuite features a floating double vanity, dual vessel basins, large-format tiles and a frameless glass shower that gives the room a more open and refined feel. Chrome fixtures and softer neutral tones help create a calm, polished look, while the walk-in robe adds valuable storage and improves the overall functionality of the suite. A pocket door was also incorporated to make the layout work more efficiently and maximise the available space.

A Complete Transformation with Lasting Value

The completed renovation has turned an underutilised front room into a fully functioning master suite that feels both elevated and practical. What was once unused space is now a standout feature of the home, adding comfort, privacy and everyday convenience. It is a strong example of how thoughtful planning and quality finishes can completely reshape a home and create lasting value.
