East Fremantle Home Extension with New Laundry

This East Fremantle project involved a rear extension adding a new laundry, separate powder room, and integrated storage, significantly improving the home’s day-to-day functionality. The addition ties in well with the existing house, both structurally and visually, so it feels like a natural extension rather than an add-on.

The new laundry is clean and practical, with full-height cabinetry, good bench space, and an efficient layout that makes use of natural light and direct access to the backyard. A dedicated linen cupboard was also included, giving the home proper storage that was previously lacking.

The powder room is simple and well executed, with a wall-mounted basin, brass tapware, and durable finishes that keep it low maintenance while still feeling considered. It’s positioned so guests can use it without impacting the laundry space.

It’s a functional upgrade that adds real, usable space to the home, with everything laid out properly and built to handle everyday use without fuss.
