This Tapping project involved transforming an existing living room into a bedroom complete with its own ensuite, adding a whole new level of functionality to the home. Rather than simply updating an existing bathroom, this renovation created an entirely new one from scratch, turning underused space into something far more practical and valuable.

The goal of the renovation was to create a comfortable bedroom with private bathroom access, making the space more suited to modern living. This meant building new walls, bringing in plumbing and designing an ensuite that felt cohesive, contemporary and well integrated with the rest of the home. The focus was on creating a bathroom that felt like it had always belonged there.

The completed ensuite features a floating vanity, a walk-in shower with frameless glass, modern fixtures and a clean, neutral palette that keeps the room feeling bright and spacious. Large-format tiles, warm timber-look flooring and natural light from the window all help create a finish that feels both practical and inviting. The result is a bathroom that is simple, modern and easy to live with every day.
