From Harsh and Utilitarian to Warm and Welcoming

This Kensington bathroom renovation completely changed the feel of the space, transforming it from something that felt more like a public changeroom into a proper home bathroom. Before the renovation, the fixtures, finishes and lighting gave the room a cold, institutional feel that didn’t suit the comfort or character expected in a family home.

A More Residential Look and Feel

The goal of the renovation was to replace that utilitarian feel with something more inviting, modern and suited to everyday living. A floating vanity, updated basin, contemporary toilet and frameless glass shower screen all helped shift the bathroom toward a cleaner and more refined finish, while new tiles and coordinated chrome fixtures brought a more cohesive residential feel to the space.

A Bathroom That Finally Feels Like Home

Improved lighting played a big part in the transformation, helping create a softer and more comfortable atmosphere throughout the room. The completed bathroom now feels fresh, bright and far more welcoming, showing how the right finishes and thoughtful design choices can completely change not just the look of a bathroom, but the way it feels to use every day.
